It was a day of love, laughter, and wedding day chaos at Colleen and Adam's wedding in Buffalo, NY. Amanda, looking radiant as ever in her bridesmaid dress, was busy with her bridal party duties.

Jerome? Well, he wasn’t even supposed to be there. He was a last-minute addition to the guest list, invited by a very enthusiastic (and slightly tipsy) Adam during his bachelor party. Jerome’s trip to the wedding was nothing short of amazing. He had an expired passport but somehow managed to cross the border anyway, he arrived at the wedding in his typical style, late.

Meanwhile, Amanda, after fulfilling all her bridesmaid responsibilities, went to find her seat, only to discover there was just one left—right beside Jerome.

As soon as Amanda sat down next to Jerome, there was an undeniable spark between them. Drinks started flowing, and soon their table turned into the place to be. Laughter filled the air, and for a moment, it felt like nothing could ruin the vibe.

Then, enter Alexander, Amanda’s 10-year-old buddy, who pulled up a chair and suddenly the party took a turn. With a kid at the table, everyone straightened up—well, almost everyone. Amanda’s attention shifted, and she spent the rest of the night hanging out with the children at the wedding.

The next day, Amanda heard that Jerome had asked for her number. But then... radio silence. A week went by without a single call. So, Amanda decided to take matters into her own hands and sent him a friend request on Facebook. Jerome responded to her friend request with a bold message, "Oh, hi."

Amanda and Jerome had their first date on July 29, 2014, and after a short courtship, Jerome proposed to Amanda on December 22, 2022.
